FULL EPISODE SYNOPSIS (spoiler!)

Tric, Karen's new club is finally ready to open.

Brooke tells Felix quite plainly that she is only using him. He says he does not mind, but that is not really true. Brooke is collecting money for the needy. Meaning herself really. She needs money, but she doesn't know what to do and she never worked in her life.

Peyton goes back to the record store to ask Chris to play at the opening of Tric. He gives her his list of artist's demands that quite annoys her, but Chris knows that she needs him and Peyton reluctantly agrees to his demands and tells him he is on at nine.

Mouth finds out from Felix, that he is not taking Brooke to the club opening, so he is hoping that he can take her instead.

Anna tells Lucas that she only wants to be friends for the time being which Lucas isn't too thrilled about.

Dan walks into Karen's Café and seemingly accidentally tells her that Deb slept with Keith. Karen is shocked as she had never expected this.

Brooke finds out about the list of artist's demands and that gives her an idea. She gives a list of rules to Felix to line out the terms of their friends-with-benefits relationship. Felix is taken aback but plays along.

Nathan visits Coach Durham in the hospital. He tells him about his decision to turn down High Flyers because he is putting Haley first. The coach tells him that he might not have taken a step forward as a basketball player but two steps forward being a man. Nathan is pleased with that.

Keith comes by Karen's Café to let her know that he is bringing Jules as a date to the opening. Andy drops by to give Karen T-Shirts with the name of the new club written on them. He even got a little one for Lucas. Andy is a bit discontented when Karen introduces him only as her professor.

Haley takes Brooke shopping on a budget. Brooke is very unhappy about having to buy such cheap clothes and she plans to get drunk on the money that's left. Haley doesn't think that is a good idea, but Brooke is determined.

Karen, Peyton and Haley make last minute preparations for the club opening. They are all nervous. Lucas tries to calm them down and points out the crowd that has gathered in front of the club for the opening.

The club is packed and everybody is having fun. Only Haley is getting more and more nervous at the thought of having to perform in front of all those people.

Andy shows up and tells Karen he feels like the oldest person at the bar. She corrects him, second oldest. She introduces him to Peyton as her friend. Peyton likes him and is amused when Andy asks if Karen brought little Lucas.

Brooke keeps drinking outside the club. Mouth is trying to work up his courage to talk to her. When Felix walks by with Teresa, Brooke starts to argue with her. Felix tells her that acting jealous must surely be against the rules.

Haley tells Peyton that she can't perform because of her stage fright. Peyton is not happy but can't convince Haley to change her mind.

Andy starts talking to Lucas at the bar without realising who he is. He is more than a little surprised when Lucas turns out to be Karen's son, but Lucas too is astonished to find out he had been talking to his mom's boyfriend.

Keith introduces Jules to Deb. Deb is happy for him. Karen watches them embrace and remembers what Dan has told her.

Chris walks into the club. He gives Haley a hard time for bailing out on her performance and she feels bad.

Anna shows up and asks Lucas to dance. Then Felix appears behind them, waving the photo booth photos in front of him. Anna tells Felix to go outside and they argue. It turns out they had to move from their last home because Anna had gotten a bad name. She tells him again that it had only been rumours but Felix believes that rumours get started.

Peyton announces Chris Keller. But Chris is annoyed when people don't pay much attention to him and walks off the stage without performing. To save the night, Haley overcomes her stage fright and she starts to play and sing. She's great and everyone loves her. Chris tells Peyton that he only walked away to make Haley go on stage. She finds that hard to believe and is really annoyed with him.

Brooke breaks Mouth's heart when she tells him that he is like a really great little brother to her. Mouth confronts Felix about his behaviour towards Brooke. It turns out that it was Felix who had paid for the dollhouse. Felix doesn't like the way Mouth is talking to him. When Lucas comes to Mouth's aid, Felix is only too happy to have an excuse to punch him. The two boys start fighting. Andy and Keith break it up and Keith throws Felix out. Karen is not happy about this turn of events. At the end of the night she takes away Lucas's cell phone, his mp3-player and his car for a week to punish him and tell him she'll make it two if he complains.

Andy asks Karen why she hadn't told him that Lucas is a teenager. He still feels a bit foolish for assuming that Lucas was a little boy. Karen tells him she is worried about their age difference and that together they jsut wouldn't look right. But Andy tells her that what matters is whether it feels right, then he kisses her and says good-night.

Chris tells Haley that she was great and offers her to work with her. When she goes off to give an interview to a magazine, Chris makes a remark that irritates Nathan.

Brooke is quite drunk and Mouth takes her home. After she's in bed Mouth confesses his love to her, but she doesn't hear him. Just then Felix walks in. Mouth is still upset with him. Felix apologises and asks if they are still friends, but Mouth only tells him to treat Brooke right, then walks away. Felix feels down and sits down on the bed with Brooke. She wakes up for a moment and asks him if he took care of her. He lies, that he had been and she goes back to sleep.

Karen asks Deb if she slept with Keith. Deb denies it, even though it is, in fact, true.

It's 2:38 in the morning and Haley is still not home. Nathan is worried. When Haley and Peyton walk into the private room of the club they find Nick and some of his friends there who are taking drugs. Peyton is horrified.

When Lucas arrives at his house, Felix is waiting there for him there. He warns him to stay away from Anna. But Lucas has no intention of heading that warning.
